Fake growth, fake money, fake jobs, fake financial stability, fake inflation numbers

By Underground Newz

Nobody can predict how long governments can get away with fake growth, fake money, fake jobs, fake financial stability, fake inflation numbers and fake income growth.

It was revealed that the “unemployment number” released on Oct. 5, 2012 was “faked.” It appears that Washington is copying the methods of China.

The U.S. unemployment rate plunged below 8%, from 8.1% to 7.8%. Economists had expected a rise to 8.2%. When 2 plus 2 doesn’t add up to 4, there is great skepticism...Has Washington adopted the Chinese method of producing economic growth:  pressure the statisticians?

Do you smell a rotten fish somewhere? In China, the party bosses tell the statisticians the number they want, and magically, that’s the economic number they get. The big job creator, our president, now has the lowest unemployment rate since he took office. However, only 114,000 jobs were added in September versus a revised 142,000 in August. So, it actually worsened.

Understand, there are two numbers for people working: the Household Survey and the Payroll survey. The former is explained above. The payroll survey comes from businesses. That is also not exact because they don’t capture small businesses. So, the labor department “imputes” numbers, guesses, to adjust for that. Private payrolls rose by a terrible 104,000 in September versus 142,000 in August. That’s a big downturn in employment.  Expectations were for an increase of 130,000. That makes the number of 873,000 even more suspicious.

Keep in mind, economists say the economy needs 200,000-250,000 new jobs created each month just to absorb the new people entering the labor force, such as school graduates, etc.

We are not the only ones skeptical about these numbers. Former CEO of General Electric, Jack Welch posted on Twitter:  “Unbelievable jobs numbers. These Chicago guys will do anything. Can't debate so change numbers.”

However, Labor Secretary Solis said on CNBC that she is “insulted” by the skepticism, and that it is “ludicrous.” She said these numbers are produced by “dedicated public servants.”

Well, even in China, top politicians admit their numbers are cooked by “public servants.”

Census ‘faked’ 2012 election jobs report

In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign, from August to September, the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington.

The decline — from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed. The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated.

And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.

Just two years before the presidential election, the Census Bureau had caught an employee fabricating data that went into the unemployment report, which is one of the most closely watched measures of the economy.

And a knowledgeable source says the deception went beyond that one employee — that it escalated at the time President Obama was seeking reelection in 2012 and continues today.

“He’s not the only one,” said the source, who asked to remain anonymous for now but is willing to talk with the Labor Department and Congress if asked.

The Census employee caught faking the results is Julius Buckmon, according to confidential Census documents obtained by The Post. Buckmon told me in an interview this past weekend that he was told to make up information by higher-ups at Census.

Census, under contract from the Labor Department, conducts the household survey used to tabulate the unemployment rate.

Interviews with some 60,000 household go into each month’s jobless number, which currently stands at 7.3 percent. Since this is considered a scientific poll, each one of the households interviewed represents 5,000 homes in the US.

Buckmon, it turns out, was a very ambitious employee. He conducted three times as many household interviews as his peers, my source said.

By making up survey results — and, essentially, creating people out of thin air and giving them jobs — Buckmon’s actions could have lowered the jobless rate.

Buckmon said he filled out surveys for people he couldn’t reach by phone or who didn’t answer their doors.

Census, under contract from the Labor Department, conducts the household survey used to tabulate the unemployment rate.

During the 2010 Census report — an enormous and costly survey of the entire country that goes on for a full year — I suspected (and wrote in a number of columns) that Census was inexplicably hiring and firing temporary workers.

I suspected that this turnover of employees was being done purposely to boost the number of new jobs being report each month. (The Labor Department does not use the Census Bureau for its other monthly survey of new jobs — commonly referred to as the Establishment Survey.)

Last week I offered to give all the information I have, including names, dates and charges to Labor’s inspector general.

I’m waiting to hear back from Labor.

The Fed is targeting the curtailment of its so-called quantitative easing money-printing/bond-buying fiasco to the unemployment rate for which Census provided the false information.

19 times Trump called jobs numbers ‘fake’

Trump's view of the monthly jobs report, which comes courtesy of the nonpartisan federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, he described the report as “totally fiction.”

During the campaign, Trump frequently said the unemployment rate — then hovering around 5 percent — was really 42 percent.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer laid it to rest Friday afternoon, telling reporters: “I talked to the president prior to this, and he said to quote him very clearly: 'They may have been phony in the past, but it’s very real now.' ”
